Do you ever find yourself sitting in a coffee shop, listening to mo-town, tapping your feet & wondering “what the heck!”

I really truly do!

I got that coffee a few weeks ago at Killer Espresso on Damen Ave in Wicker Park. If I recall correctly, it was around 8:45 on a Thursday. I was running late for some appointment, and needed a caffeine fix. I went in for a coffee and came out confused. “What the heck,” I kept thinking to myself, “How did they do that?!” A heart. In my espresso foam.

If that’s not talent, I don’t know what is.  But then, a few days later – it happened again!

Seriously, how are they doing this? This little feather flew to me from Caffee Streets on Division St. in Wicker Park. As I picked up my coffee from the counter, I had to actually bite my lip from screaming in excitement! I know – I should’ve asked. My opportunity was staring me in the face, in the form of another very cute barista. (what is with all the cute hipster baristas in my neighborhood?). But I chickened out. So, I’m asking you instead.

Am I out of the loop? Is this old news? Am I the only person in the world who thinks this is so totally awesome?

As if my day couldn’t get any better, I found an a capella version of my all time favorite song in the entire world, ever, I mean like, ever, favorite song, ever.
